Step inside through the orangery — a light-filled, plant-filled space with a canary yellow sofa facing straight out over the valley.

It's the kind of room you'll find yourself sitting in longer than planned. If you're up early enough you may see deer on the hillside.

A picnic table and garden seating sit just outside the orangery entrance, sharing the same valley outlook.

The main cottage is full of period character — beamed ceilings run through the lounge, bedrooms, and kitchen, giving the place a warmth that newer properties simply don't have. The lounge centres on a woodburner in a traditional fireplace, flanked by two sofas, a smart TV, DVD player, and strong fibre-optic WiFi. On a cold evening with the fire lit and the beams above you, it's hard to leave.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed; the second bedroom flexes as twins or a super king — ideal for families or two couples travelling together. Space for a cot is available if needed. Towels are provided throughout.

Fully equipped kitchen for farmhouse breakfasts. Includes oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and a dining table for four.

Outside, the hot tub sits in a screened courtyard — sheltered and relaxing. The tub is heated and ready 365 days per year. A lounge pod in the garden offers a sheltered, quiet spot for drinks and valley views.

Guests have access to a shared gym (treadmills, bikes, TRX, free weights, and punch bags) and a pool table (bring a £1 coin to play which you can reuse). The extensive DVD library lives here too.

Self check in via keysafe from 1600 & check out by 1000. 1 dog welcome.
